Brief Introduction on the School of Nursing, Wenzhou Medical University

School of Nursing at Wenzhou Medical University began to recruit full-time associate degree nursing students with three years school system in 1998 and to recruit undergraduate nursing students with three years school system in 2001.In 2006, the school gained the qualification to award master degree in Nursing. At present, the School of Nursing has about enrollment of 1800 students, including junior college students, undergraduates and graduates.

The School of Nursing has complete nursing teaching laboratories, including gynecology and obstetrics laboratory, pediatric laboratory, surgical operation room, simulate ward, fundamental nursing laboratory, health assessment physical examination laboratory, simulator laboratory, emergency laboratory, rehabilitation and community nursing laboratory and so on.

Active in international cooperation in recent years, the School of Nursing has established cooperative relationships with Thomas University in USA, Burapha University in Thailand, Linnaeus University in Sweden, Gachon University in South Korea, I-Shou University in Taiwan and Chung Shan Medical University in Taiwan in the area of staff/student exchange program, joint research, credit transfer program etc. The cooperative education in Bachelor degree of Science of Nursing between WMU School of Nursing and Thomas University, USA was approved by China Ministry of Education in 2010 and recruit students in 2011.  

At present, all the faculty and staff in School of Nursing are striving to attain the goal of becoming a high quality school that will enjoy high prestige for its own features and excellent academic performance.
