Fuman Cai is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), Dean of the School of Nursing at Wenzhou Medical University, and leader of the National First-Class Nursing Program, Zhejiang Provincial First-Class Nursing Discipline, Zhejiang Provincial Off-Campus Practice Base for College Students, and Wenzhou Teaching Innovation Team, as well as a Standing Committee Member of the Integrated Stoma and Wound Care Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Standing Committee Member of the Rehabilitation Nursing Branch of the China Association of Chinese Medicine Research Promotion, Committee Member of the Medical Science and Technology Innovation and Achievement Transformation of the China Medical Education Association, Committee Member of the Basic Nursing Terminology Review Subcommittee of the National Nursing Terminology Review Committee, Member of the 6th National Textbook Review Committee for Nursing Programs, Expert of the Education Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, Member of the Chinese Science Citation Database Evaluation Committee (CSCIED), President of Wenzhou International Enterostomal Therapy School, and Chief Expert of Wenzhou Health Promotion Research Center. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Zhejiang University, a Master's degree in Pathophysiology from Wenzhou Medical University, and a Doctoral degree in Nursing from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has been selected as a Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader in Zhejiang Provincial Universities, an Outstanding Young Teacher in Zhejiang Provincial Universities, a member of the Second Level of the Wenzhou New Century 551 Talent Project, and a mentorship training personnel in the Wenzhou New Century 551 Talent Project, and has received honors such as "Wenzhou Outstanding Teacher," "Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Wenzhou Dongtou District," "Teaching Master," and "New Teaching Star" at Wenzhou Medical University. In recent years, he has presided over 5 national and provincial-level research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, won the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Nursing Association as the First Completing Author, and the Third Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Nursing Association and the Second Prize of the Provincial Government Teaching Achievement Award (twice) as a Major Completing Author. His research results have been published in top international journals such as British Journal of Dermatology (IF=9.6), Journal of Advanced Research (IF=13), and Mater Today Bio (IF=10.2), and he has received the Wiley China High Contribution Author Award, holds 10 invention patents and 12 utility model patents, with 2 patents successfully transferred and put into production under the commercialization model of "350,000 RMB + 8% sales commission." He has successfully guided multiple master's students to pursue doctoral studies (including one admitted to Peking University's nursing academic doctoral program), supervised students who received the "Zhejiang Provincial Excellent Graduate" award, and guided master's theses recognized as "Zhejiang Provincial Excellent Master's Thesis," "Zhejiang Provincial Professional Master's Excellent Practice Achievement," "Chinese Nursing Association's Top 100 Excellent Papers," and "Wenzhou Medical University Excellent Master's Thesis," as well as mentored undergraduate students who won nearly 10 national and provincial awards in the "Internet +" and "Challenge Cup" innovation competitions.
