On the afternoon of October 30th, the 2025 World Young Scientists Summit Grand Health Forum - Nursing Master's and Doctoral Students Academic Sub-Forum was successfully held at the university. Professor Jiang Liping, academic leader of the Nursing Discipline at Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Professor Hu Rong, Vice Dean of the School of Nursing, Fujian Medical University, and Professor Yang Bingxiang, Vice Dean of the School of Nursing, Wuhan University, delivered special lectures. Together with three supervisors from our university—Huang Xiaoqiong, Chen Yanyan, and Yin Zhiqin—they served as commentary guests for the forum. A total of 39 doctoral students and 6 master's students from 25 renowned domestic and foreign universities, including Cyberjaya University in Malaysia, The University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Capital Medical University, Sun Yat-sen University, Central South University, and Army Medical University, delivered conference speeches.



Keynote Speeches
Professor Jiang Liping delivered a keynote speech themed "From 'Experience to Evidence'—Data-Driven Clinical Nursing Research". She mainly explored the transformation path of clinical nursing research from relying on experience to being centered on data-driven evidence, emphasizing the key role of data-driven approaches in clarifying nursing issues, optimizing intervention plans, improving nursing quality and the scientific nature of research, and promoting the development of nursing practice towards precision and evidence-based care.
Professor Hu Rong's speech, titled "Analysis of Common Problems in Graduate Thesis Writing", analyzed universal issues in graduate thesis writing such as topic selection, literature review, argumentation, and framework structure. She pointed out the lack of problem awareness and academic norms, and emphasized the importance of improving academic literacy for thesis quality and research capabilities.
Professor Yang Bingxiang gave a speech themed "Application for National Natural Science Foundation Projects: Trends and Responses". She shared the current trends in NSFC project applications, such as interdisciplinary integration and focus on cutting-edge areas, analyzed common problems in topic selection and writing with practical cases, and provided practical experience for precise response and improving application success rates.
Academic Exchange
The forum received a total of 154 submitted papers from 49 domestic and foreign universities. After expert review, 39 doctoral students and 6 master's students were finally selected for oral presentations, and another 30 master's students' submissions were selected for poster presentations. This format not only provided a visual platform for master's students to showcase their research results but also facilitated in-depth face-to-face interactions, allowing innovative ideas to collide and elevate. Nursing master's and doctoral students from home and abroad gathered to discuss the academic frontiers and latest international progress in the nursing discipline. With an open attitude and forward-looking perspective, they conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge theories, advanced technologies, and practical applications in the field. Both the in-depth elaboration of oral presentations and the vivid display of poster sessions jointly constructed a diverse and efficient academic exchange ecosystem for this forum, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of the nursing discipline.

At the forum site, the 6 commentary experts affirmed the performance of young nursing scholars. They recognized the innovation of their topic selection, the rigor of their research methods, and their pragmatic scientific research attitude. Meanwhile, combined with their research results, they provided practical improvement suggestions and targeted professional guidance.
