The online interview for the China-Thailand cooperative nursing master's education program jointly offered by Wenzhou Medical University and Burapha University Thailand was successfully completed on June 5. The interview saw fierce competition, with 67 candidates vying for 30 admission places, fully demonstrating the program's strong appeal and outstanding influence in nursing education.
Conducted online, the interview effectively broke geographical barriers and brought convenience to candidates from across China. The interview committee, consisting of 28 teachers from both Chinese and Thai sides, conducted a comprehensive, rigorous and impartial assessment of candidates from multiple dimensions including professional competence, English proficiency and research potential by virtue of their rich teaching experience and professional knowledge. During the interview, candidates demonstrated solid nursing knowledge, quick thinking ability and enthusiasm for professional research.

Since the launch of applications, this cooperative program has attracted widespread attention and numerous nursing professionals to apply actively. The number of applicants far exceeded expectations, and 67 candidates ultimately obtained interview qualifications. This not only reflects high recognition of the program's high-quality educational resources and broad development prospects, but also mirrors the society's urgent demand for international high-level nursing talents.
It is reported that the cooperative program integrates the advantageous resources of the two universities and adopts an all-English teaching mode. Its curriculum system emphasizes the in-depth integration of cutting-edge nursing theories and clinical practice, and focuses on cultivating students' critical thinking, research capabilities and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. After graduation, students will be awarded a Master of Nursing degree certificate issued by Burapha University Thailand, which is recognized in both China and Thailand, laying a high starting point for graduates' career development in nursing field at home and abroad. Enrollment of the program started in 2019, having nurtured multiple cohorts of students, with 108 currently pursuing their studies.
At present, the interview process has concluded, and the subsequent score evaluation and admission stages have commenced. The admission results are expected to be announced in mid-June.
